With Storyboard Pro we can create a project in our mind and pass it directly to the program, because it lets us transform our ideas into images.
When we open the program we can see the welcome window, where we must select our project's name, title and resolution.
After this, we can find one Menu Bar, some toolbars like file, edit, view, storyboard, layer, onionskin, sound, play and navigation, other thing that we can change is the workspace and select the grid area too.
We can add characters from our library, import images like a storyboard or layers, we can add shots and layers too.
The program lets us handle the actions taken on our image by the camera, we can change the position of it with only a click of our mouse - it becomes very easy to create an animation.
Also we can select different voice annotations like dialogues, action notes, slugging and similar. With the program we can export our projects to different formats like mov, swf, tga, jpg, PDF and psd. This program is very useful for storyboard artists, directors and common users who want to create cartoons, commercials, games and more. |

What's new in version 9.1
Toon Boom has made improvements to optimize the
workflow when working with the camera tool.
- Selectable Camera Frames in the Camera View
To copy the position of a camera, you can now simply select the camera frame inside
the Camera view and use the basic Copy and Paste commands or shortcuts. It is also
possible to delete and reset selected camera frames.
- Copy Camera Keyframes From Selected Panels
It is now possible to copy and paste camera keyframes by selecting a panel. This
allows the user to copy and paste keyframes without zooming in to the timeline.
Also,the user can copy keyframes from one panel, then when they paste it will adjust the keyframes automatically to fit the selected panels. |
